This post is written to encourage all to keep the faith by living true moral values.
In the state of Utah, July 24th is a time-honored celebration known as Pioneer Days. The early settlers of the State are recognized, because of their admirable trek, for starting a new cycle of life in an unfamiliar territory.
There are other pioneers, who have blazed the way resulting in new beginnings. I am thinking of the giant pioneers in science, government, the arts, medicine, and other areas of accomplishment. Also the brave ones, who left country or family to adopt another lifestyle, or change their social standing for a better way; taking off the old and putting on the new.
Are we, like the noble pioneers, carving a honorable trail for others to follow?
With these thoughts, I ask,
"Do we have the backbone to exhibit moral courage in the following areas?"
Charitable service
Speaking the truth
Gaining noble knowledge
Honesty in all endeavors
Developing desirable qualities
Acting accountable to self and God
Christopher Columbus said, "God gave me the faith and afterwards the courage so that I was quite willing to undertake the journey."
Regarding the words spoken by Mark Twain and Christoper Columbus, let us keep the faith by having the courage to shine, shine brightly with moral courage. Let us willingly take the journey of a pioneer and demonstrate a path of good works for others to follow.
Charming Sara Draper encouraging us to "Keep the Faith."
