Dauntless Zombie

This is the season of scary things.

It seemed to be a strange visitor of fright!
It entered . . . and oh, my goodness . . . it came out of the dark, scary night.

The Zombie's intentions were to prowl about.
Would you believe it was looking for a talent scout?

Oh, it was Miss Sarah Draper who came to my door.
No, she can't fool me any more.

WOW!

I would like to share with you  my favorite things . . . BOOKS!

My list of enjoyable reading material regarding scary things.

"How to Care for Your Monster"   by Norman Bridwell

"The Widow's Broom" by Chris Van Allsburg

"The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe

"The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving

Activities for the fun season:

Carving a happy face in a very large, orange pumpkin.

Eating a cupcake covered with rich, orange and black, gooey, gooey frosting.

Answering the door for treat or treaters wearing
a large witch's hat, a false rubber nose above a sincere and happy smile.

Having a picnic in the cemetery on Halloween evening -- if you are brave enough.

Memories from last year.

Don't worry, little pumpkin.  It's probably just all that
sugar from yesterday that makes us feel......

Signing off with counsel to all.

CREATE WHOLESOME FUN!

Love to you, my reader.

Now, come on -- She is not so scary -- it is just our creative Sara entertaining you.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
